8 - The subject is chosen by all the member, with the votes on the poll. All the polls ends on friday, when the new subject is posted, then a new one starts.

I went through this blog deeply engrossed for the better part of sunday morning. I would love to be a member of this forum but as one would expect, the world's second most populous country would have a representative here.
