Strange food

Does your country have a typical food that seems a little... strange? Maybe it´s not so strange for the people where you do live, or maybe it is! Is it strange because of the ingredients? Or because of the ritual envolved to eat it? Or what?

Bon apetit.

Our best ingredients are the love and the kind of fire used for the cooking. At least I haven’t any favorite dish, I am rejoicing at our sitting around the table. What matters indeed is our spiritual attitude towards the life and our neighbor. I am deeply convinced that all other, the concrete shapes of the concrete things are just the secondary and didn’t deserve any comments.
I am used to enjoy what I have at a moment and that is in constant change. However, some things remain the same. And it is our wish to serve our guests with what we have the best at the moment. It is typical in Lithuania to visit each other without any special need for that and to do this at any time of the year, Plus we are used to bring some gifts to the mistress of the house. It has nothing in common with the Christmas gifts or any other feasts, but that reflects the essence of the greatest holiday on every single day we knock at the door of other.
